MI was founded in 1988, when the founder, Steve Orand, moved his family here after selling his business in Lafayette, LA. Over the next 34 years, what was a small screw machine shop grew into an integrated CNC machining and manufacturing facility, with multiple departments engaged in the relentless pursuit of excellence in fabrication in all types of metals, plastics, and assembly services. When we started, we had only one customer. Things have grown since then but we take pride in our original partnerships still being strong today.
